I'm not bitching but if you have people in a committee which have their own interest in making their own product a success you can't possible think that there is no conflict of interest.

It's like a bunch of wallet developers deciding over grants for bitcoin wallets while they need funding themselves.

When did I say conflicts of interest or bias doesn't exist? I don't disagree. Just suck less and do better if you don't like how things are done.

donating every month 1m sats to damus and 500k sats to semi ... what are you doing? giving nice advices? thank you, but warm words won't help if you are serious

Ignore him. He's just trolling.

He'd shit his pants, if we actually started a second fund. 😂

Hell yeah ralf!!!

Okay what about this.

Users decide what wallets they want to fund.

Wallet devs can fund libraries that make life easier for them, and for their users indirectly.

Did we reinvent zap splits? Yes! Do people feel better about OpenSats than to do this? Yes!

For people that want to outsource this shit, I’m thinking of something. People can set up their own funds, pay with onchain (you’ll see why, but LN is also possible), anyone can donate, public record of amounts and similar exist, and funds get sent back with timelock if not spent.

I'm listening.

We've been trying to figure this out, for ourselves, because we have an increasingly sprawling platform being built, with people from all specialties and talents (including ourselves!) and we are wondering how to seamlessly setup

La Grand Zap Split.

Seems like this needs to be done maybe on the relay-side. 🤔
