Tyrants use violence.

Weak men suggest violence but when push comes to shove hide behind “I was just joking bro. It’s just a meme”.

Strong men are always prepared to use violence as a last resort but never threaten it unless they mean it.

This is an argument over semantics. Use persuasion, use humor, use code, use POW. Use whatever tool you need but never suggest or promote violence until you’re prepared to go to blows. This scenario does not justify it my friend. That’s not what it means to be “toxic”. Toxin is a passive defense against aggression. A baseball bat and rope are unnecessarily aggressive.
