We were talking about people illegally crossing the boarder and who were not carrying their passports etc. In such cases, where they are committing one crime, it is logical to assume that they would commit others. If I was crossing a boarder with children, I would want the officials to pay attention and double check everything is ok.

Those "Parents" probably were trying to traffic the children and the system tried to sort the mess out, without realising that the Deep State also had its hands in the deal.
