What's the current best alternative to having a government with a monopoly on violence?

Historically, without a central government, you end up with feudalism (gangs, individuals and families gathering power through force).

I'm genuinely interested and looking for reading material.

The only way corrupt govs maintain their grip on their criminal activities is by monopolizing the money. Change the money; you instantly destroy everything they represent without firing a bullet. This is one of the many reasons why #Bitcoin was created. Fiat must die. #[2]
