I get the threat from governments wanting to stifle free speech and uncensorable money, but too many people are worried about what the government will do to them, when it’s the government who is violating civil liberties and trampling on your rights. It is they who should be worried about the consequences of crossing uncrossable lines with so many people waking up.
I post under my own name with my real photo in my profile. Maybe I’m a fool for doing so, and I’ll soon learn the error of my ways, but maybe we need more fools to stand behind what they are saying and the freedom technology we’re using, rather than anons warning about how scary things will get. They *might* get scary, but like a victim in the horror movie hiding in the closet, waiting for the axe murderer to find her, it’s a lot scarier when you’re on the defensive, waiting for the enemy to strike a blow.
Why not play offense — stand up for what you believe and persuade others to do so too, refuse to tolerate intolerance and tyranny? It is not we who should be afraid of them, but they who should be afraid of us. nostr:note1kf9au3hz3fz4s877qweq8qe9rftdyedsvyvnj79syws4nwldjg8qy66sfj
