How much Satoshi mined for himself/themselves? 1 million?

It is estimated to be somewhere between 300k - 1.2m coins.

But I actually believe that Satoshi doesn't have and never had any private keys to adresses where coins were mined to.

Very possible. So you think it was done to simply reduce the coins in circulation ?

Thought that might have been the reason Halfin mentioned 20 million coins..but probably that's not the answer.
