This is why we need Nostr. I live in Canada where a number of municipalities are investigating finding an alternative to X. I reached out to a few stating that they should consider Nostr. They did not, and proceeded to state their intention to switch to BlueSky because of freedom of speech.

It is frustrating as it would take very little time for them to post on both Nostr and alternatives. If they did, their communications would always be available and reach a wide audience.

I don’t think governments truly care about freedom tech.
