the chat group would be the relay in your analogy except on telegram you would be less likely to sell ad-space on your channel

Thanks. In other news, I have just now jumped across from Primal to Ditto to see whether things work over here (they kinda do) and am trying to figure out how to get my display name and photo to follow me. Newbie Nostr issues!
