there is no need for overt acts of confiscation

if they ever need to transact for oil or anything scarce in bitcoin they just need to control the on-ramp into bitcoin so you must use dollars to buy bitcoin

the bitcoin-dollar system is the new petro-dollar system

that is why they are so heavy handed with offshore exchanges

The more people that accept and transact in bitcoin amongst one another the less this law will matter. If eventually you can just circulate within the bitcoin economy the irs will have to eat shit.
