God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars.

Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need.

We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place.

We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives.

We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars.

But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact.

And we're very, very pissed off

Unfortunately, most are... not.

They have their beer, bread and circuses. They have a "them" to blame - be it corporations or governments, women or men, the socialists or the capitalists. They've been made numb, dumb and powerless my the monetary system, the education system, the medical system, the messed up gender roles, the destruction of the nuclear family, the free porn, etc. Most seem to think "more regulations" and a "better government" would solve something, anything.

IF Tyler were right, the banks would have been denied bailouts in 2008. Bitcoin would have hit 100k USD in like, 2010. COVID lockdowns never would have happened. Mainstream culture would have never gotten infested with the SJW BS.

But, you know, the pendulum swings... it's changed directions for the better, at the very least. And we're here to swing it :)
