people often argue about whether reality is made of mathematics or language

mathematics is a language for which it has strict equations of causality

language does not have this constraint

language is primordial

mathematics is primal

you can't have an internally consistent reality without mathematics

if there is a thing i would point at and say "That is the Word of God" it would be mathematics

because you can say shit that means nothing and it's still language but that's like comparing a charcoal and a diamond because both are made of 99.999% carbon

maybe i have got that backwards

primal means of the beginning, the quality of first

primordial hints at the thing that makes mathematics different from plain language - order... it concerns itself with sequence, neigbours and patterns

geometry is a child of mathematics

without mathematics you can't make sense of anything, you don't know what goes before, what is inside, what is outside, these things are all the domain of mathematics, ORDER.

Math is a form of sense making. That which is, is before the senses, so math rises from the object. But the object rises from the observer ; without the observer giving names to all things, all things are undifferentiated.

the primary thing of mathematics is thing and nothing though, so that kinda puts it in that place
