Thanks for your good feedback. I read one article that tried to present Joshua as a melancholic fellow, from extrabiblical sources, and put partial blame on him for the defeat at Ai. But I don't see it in the Bible.

Right. Of course we know that Joshua was a sinner, like everyone else except for Jesus, who is God in human flesh, we just don't have any biblical record of Joshua's sins, and the Holy Spirit probably deliberately meant it to be this way.
Joseph the son of Jacob in Genesis is someone I had previously heard of as said to have no sins recorded about him, and he too can be said to be a type of Christ. Some, however, think he was prideful and arrogant toward his brothers, though I don't necessarily think that is the case.
