Someone asked me about removing malware and spyware crap from a windows pc but I haven’t used windows much for a long time. Any recommendations? Doesn’t windows come with a built in scanner bitdefender or something?

Malwarebytes is a good free option. For paid, Norton is better than McAfee https://www.malwarebytes.com
