Maybe you are right, but for me when they get equity funds money and not raises money from the people who uses it, it brings me a red flag to keep my eyes wide open.

We already seen what happens when big finance put the hands in great products before..

And it seem some clients of freedom tech getting that same road..

Simplex, Primal and who knows what more are taking the same steps..

I don't think this is a symptom of funding. This is a symptom of trying to build on a vision and provide an certain experience.

I know how it works in raising funds, and one thing is certain, they will ask you for things that “you” maybe don’t want to do, but “you” already sell your soul to raise the funds.

You can build your vision without outside funding..

And a business is build with clients money, and whoever gives you money gets the control..

Who are their clients?

Users?

I don’t think so..

You're correct here. These things to happen.

Im not a dev, but can’t a client create a code that gives them a percentage of the zaps of users to help fund the projects?

I think that would be a fair form of funding..

This is essentially what Damus did a while back. It's an opt-in choice for users on the amount they want to split for funding.

And that’s a great way of funding.

But essentially the big problem is that 90% of people are not sellers and they don’t know how to ask for funding.

But no matter what the Nostr ecosystem is getting better and better, and that’s what matters 👊🏼🫂
