It strikes me as problematic that even here in The early #Nostr where if he sees it, he sees it, we generally flock to boost and engage with influencers who have been in #Bitcoin way longer than me and you, who most likely have orders of magnitude more corn

I think people should zap who they feel gives them value. Just like in the physical world. If people aren’t providing value, they don’t “need” anything. Many people have risen to prominence because of the value they bring to people. Once the money is fixed, the Pareto distribution will still exist, and trying to redistribute productive sats to non-producing people will fail in that world as well.
I do agree. Sometimes it just pains me to know (first-hand) that plebs are sending a fraction of their fraction of a whole coin to people with tens potentially hundreds+ whole coins
But like you said, even then, it’s all fair game! Value for value, individuals can make their own choices and that’s ultimately the beauty of it
