HODLing is hard and people who dunk on HODLers are just jealous imho. Evidence: last 2 Christmas I gave out a total of 6 opendime/satscards with $100 worth of Bitcoin at the time. They would be worth about $150-336 today. Asked recipients what they did with them: 2 panic sold almost immediately, 2 lost/can’t remember, 2 held. Anecdotally only 1/3 of people seem capable of HODLing. Simple but not easy.

it's hard to hodl when all you know about Bitcoin is its market price.
When you understand what the thing is, you won't panic for a price drop because you know that the price is not the most important feature of Bitcoin.
This is why "study Bitcoin" is a better slogan than "buy Bitcoin"
