It is a friend of capitalism on communist rails. FIAT is centrally planned and therefor communist in its nature and will never be as efficient as a capitalistic economy run on freemarket money.
Corporatism and its attempts to fix it… no positives results yet
Consumerism is the result of having a worthless currency. If I had to trade my time for something from Zara, which is completely dispensable, then I would think twice.
