Does anyone else ask guests to take their shoes off when they come over?
Our home is our sanctuary. A safe, cozy space. And I’d rather not track in chemicals, toxins, and whatever else is living on the bottom of our shoes. No thank you

Yep. Picked up the habit after living on Kauai. Pretty much every home in Hawaii is like this. Agree, shoes off, but we do it more for keeping the home clean and less dirty, but I guess that does equate to “healthier” so to speak.
Absolutely! That’s why we do it. To have a less toxic home. If you can prevent the toxins from coming in, why not do it right?
Ya my wife and I absolutely have a no-shoes policy! It keeps SO much dirt out and makes the house feel so much better/cleaner
