Yes! I did the same thing before a recent trial during jury selection and despite that I was selected for a jury.

It was a simpler case with no need for Jury Nullification. Someone stole someone else’s dog. But, I did create a minor stir before the jury was selected and the trial started when I brought up jury nullification and said I would only follow the judge’s instructions about the law if the law was just and her instructions compatible with the Constitution.
