I never really dated. I found the right girl at age 16 and knew it. Of course, she didn’t. I patiently made something of myself and married her waited 8 years later. That was almost 20 years ago.

My parents also met and married fairly young. I just thought it would be easier.

I don’t know if I have specific question. I can say what I feel like my issues are that I’m having with dating.
1) The single men I’m attracting are significantly younger than myself.
2) The interesting men already taken.
3) I’m burnt out on dating apps. Never had much luck with them anyways.
4) I feel a bit incompatible with the dating population where I’m currently located and like I should just wait until I move back to a bigger city.
5) I’m just in a period of transition. So it seemed like taking myself out of the dating game was just a better option.
