If they were any bigger they would have been trained and disciplined like proper dogs, or have been destroyed for being a danger.
Folks let these 'dogs', and I use the term lightly, to get away with this behaviour.
They are cute and confident but often very badly behaved, which to me only reflects their owner’s lack of discipline or consideration. I prefer boxers, malinois, etc.
💯 Chihuahuas as a breed really do take on the personality traits of their owners, that's one reason they are recommended by many as emotional support animals to help with depression etc.
