#grownostr #aquaponics #deepsubstrate I just finished one side of my aquaponics adding soil and sand to the bottom layer.

Drain tank - I put it into a recycle bin with a pond pump.

Fill base with 2-3” of potting soil, fertilizer mix.

Add water, make it a concrete slurry ratio.

Add 3” of sand which will cap the soil underneath.

Slowly add water without disturbing the sand layer.

Profit! It took me about 1.5 hours to do everything.
