Trade deficit:

I buy more from you in gross nominal terms than you buy from me.

It’s not necessarily a “bad” thing as long as this trade is done freely, fairly, ethically, and environmentally conscious.

Am I missing something? Seems people want this to be more complicated than it is. I could be wrong.
