My understand is inscriptions was already possible before Casey released his ordinals / inscription project...its now just relatively more accessible to less technical folks through his software or wallet to do it ? Just makes putting whatever you want on the blockchain easier but made no material changes to bitcoin itself ?
Yes. I figure it’s a case of “just because you can doesn’t mean you should” though, not that anyone can stop it.
