They go in on centralised systems and expect it to always work in their favour. No thoughts of diversifying, or backups, or redundancy, they accept counterparties and assume they’ll never get rugged.

It’s why there are still goldbugs and they post about being able to use gold-backed credit cards as if that’s “using gold” - same idiot energy.
