OnlyZap was a feature released on Damus that not only turned likes off but removed them totally as an option for the user. Other plebs could not zap their notes.

This sparked a huuuuuuge debate. Honestly we’re all still thinking about it. There is value in the likes, there is also danger (addiction, data mining …)

But for example introverts seem to really like them. It.s a silent a silent way of saying: I am here listening, I exist.

The onlyzap experiment made me comment more. The result, I am even more addicted. 🤣
