Highly recommend Trepang2 (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1164940/Trepang2/)
It's basically indie F.E.A.R w/out the horror (so far, a few hours in).
It has an arena/wave based mode too. Super fun.
Works fine on Steam Deck -can hit 60 most of the time albeit on low settings. SD's FSR does give it a bit more performance.
