What does it mean, to look for truth? Or what does it mean to you?

That’s a great question!

What is truth?

Is it a consensus? If we all believe the world is round, does it make it true?

Is it one’s perspective? Are there infinite genders or 2?

Who decides truth?

For me, I believe there is a Creator to our universe. Before time and matter our Creator, the God of the Bible, was. He is, and will be. For all eternity. I believe truth can only be completely understood when knowing that God is source of all Truth. And that there is but 1 God. He created all things. He sent his Son, Christ Jesus, to die for our sins that we may pardoned of our sins and join God in eternity.

Do I completely understand truth because I am a Christian? No. But I believe you those who are not believers in Christ are missing a fundamental truth that shapes your understanding of the universe.

Much like how Bitcoin can shape your understanding of truth in the economy and diseases of fiat.

And you may be right. I would encourage you to try to find it if it does exist!

Math is great starting point. It’s a language we all speak. If we can discover if there is a truth, we need to speak the same language to ensure we all understand it the same.

I don’t see the point in finding ultimate truth really.

There’s my perspective and what I think and have experienced

And there’s the same for others

That’s it really.

What if your perspective was wrong?

Maybe Bitcoin is just like ETH and Dogecoin. Just another crypto.

Or perhaps a Jury on murder trial needs to determine a man’s fate. Death or freedom. Truth, and perspective of truth, play a very serious role.

To me, not being in truth can have serious consequences.

But that is just my opinion and worldview. I could be very wrong or misguided, as I often am. I just like to learn that sooner than later to correct my behavior.

And please don’t interpret any of that in a rude or condescending tone. That is not what I’m wishing to express. I enjoy conversations like these. Questioning, reasoning, and learning from others in good faith! 🧡

Very true(pun intended) on some opinions.

Example: which food is best? Probably not a truth to find there. But maybe just needing a more specific question. Which food is both most nutritious, based on “abc”, and lowest cost to produce in mass, that is typically consumed based of “xyz” study of consumption. Maybe there is a truth there!

But 🧡 u 🌎. Won’t drag this on forever, as I can easily talk about this stuff forever because it excites me. Truely wishing you the best with your new beginnings buddy!

If there is no truth fundamentally the logical progression would be that there are no lies. I am extremely confident there are lies so that line of thinking is very problematic to me. I’ve started to understand the shaky foundation of my previously relativistic mental model through contemplation and being honest in my logical progressions.

Truth exists and we become more human by seeking and conforming to them. Just my perspective 🙂
