It's obviously fake, but that's not the point. NIP-05 is not verification. It's only an identifier. If these accounts want to be known as Tesla or YouTube or another brand @nostrsplebs.com would it really be impersonation? Major brands would use their own domain and be identified by their own domain.

Yeah it's a cool way to be part of something. Kinda feels like a fanclub kinda thing, or sportteams.

Most likely, any supposed major brand name that is registered with our service is not the actual brand themselves. In that case, it's just someone's nym. If in the future a brand would contact us and wish to procure their ID, then we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

I think TBH that all of these matters are "that's a dispute between you and them. Come back when the court rules in your favour." If you take things into your own hands, you could end up being sueable.
