The other weird thing the internet has enabled is targeted mass hysteria. The rabid degree to which Craig cultists act is similar to other forms of online numbskullery, like flat earthers. These are people with no tendencies toward psychotic delusion, but here they are, with their bizarre, unshakeable beliefs.
