Lets say this goal is the morphology of ‘you’ at peak reproductive fitness. When this goal is achieved, it never sets a new goal.

What happens to an agent when it continues to exist in the absence of a goal more specific than ‘persist’?

This is the intuitive argument for the body’s slow drift from peak health/reproductive health/target morphology.
