I know it’s early, but before mass adoption can happen - more content besides crypto needs to populate a feed.
I have high hopes for Nostr future. I hope with more time, things become streamlined & approachable to the masses or normies.
Lots of dumping on Elon too

It’s like I’m BlueSky, that’s all they talk about.
Because Elon has been censoring criticism of himself and there’s a shit ton of dirt on him
Elon is a construct and for the first time huge chunks of people are putting the pieces together and seeing how he lies his ass off
US tech workers over Christmas and now gamers in the last week. With each one he tightens up the algorithm, which means the people he’s stepped on have to go somewhere else and that’s a lot of people at this point
He’s also become the face of big tech and the palantir guys so it becomes an existential battle too
X is a shit show. Elon is a big baby who changes the code to fit his needs. Every time he gets upstaged, an update on the algorithm happens.
It’s no coincidence on why Trump hasn’t left Truth Social for X completely. I know it’s his business but his reach is on X.

I agree. The Nostr protocol can be something beautiful and what is needed to move forward with social media and all other platforms.
The people are the treasure of a network and what they produce on it.
That is what made MySpace, early Twitter & Instagram great. Now they are all a means for advertisers and “influencers”.
That is what I also hate on X, the amount of post that are engagement bait, shitposts that gets boosted & parody accounts.
need clients that specialize in corralling just type of notes you are interested in. Too much slop here. No way to avoid. Mute everyone who doesn’t interest you, more pop up. Mute hashtag, slop shows up anyway because you follow another hashtag they used, and sloppers use hundred hashtags to spread slop
