People forget what happened to Japanese American citizens during ww2. No one is safe.

Native Americans were put in schools to "normalize" them until fairly recent history. My grandparents got in trouble for speaking French in school in the 30s and 40s. Like, xenophobia is gross af.
The national language is English.
Doesn't mean they can't speak the language they know. They shouldn't have been beaten for it. Why would being bilingual be bad? Why is communication across cultures a bad thing? Is it so they can be easier to control? Isn't that what happened in the Tower of Babel story? The people were getting too uppity so "the power" made sure they couldn't communicate with each other?
"National" anything reeks of nationalism and that's too close to nazi for me. Thank you, have a day.
Haha ghey
English is important because assimilation is mandatory. The difference between legal immigration of the 60s and 70s is that those people became Americans and merged into the community. Illegal immigration now there is no assimilation, they form enclaves little Somalia, little China, little Mexico and Lat Am.
This degrades America, it's values and it's laws. Have a good day. BOOM.
Which is the language of England, bloody immigrants.
And with those events which cannot be changed, it's the most ubiquitous language to use, that or Mandarin, then Spanish.
Well not quite… comes in 3rd place after Mandarin and Spanish. 5% use english as a first language vs 16% for Mandarin. The sun set on the British empire over a century ago and Americans aren’t very good at sex.
The clock is ticking…
