I’m in the process of planning to open a small private school (in about 18 months). Looking at how to set up the business side… Going the for-profit route, seems way easier, in terms of less government regulation and reporting. I know we couldn’t fund raise by donation, but any thoughts on this. Is there a glaring reason that it would be better to go non-profit?
