Nostr relays are starting to shut down. It's unsustainable without zap subscriptions, which I'm okay with paying if they're reasonable.

The system needs to be recurring through DMs. One time unlocks are cool but as you said unsustainable

I think nostr wine does that DM reminder thing. BOLT12 will also enable subscriptions.
