The only thing traditional social media has left is its network effect. When people find out how much better the nostr protocol is than centralized social media, then find out that they can get paid for their content directly and peer to peer, it's over.

In many ways I think it may already be as long as nostr can continue to scale and developers continue building the products.

It's insane how quickly it has come along though. Maybe it's a compounding effect from already having the basic ingredients but man the development is so impressive and I'm sure it's gonna pay off handsomely in the next few years!
