Leave it out side to air but needs a roof of some sort.
You are looking to get 12 to 20% moisture content so you'll need a tester (cheap on amazon or other sites)
12 to 18 months usually is the time period depending on location and how well they are stored.
Or you can build a kiln and dry it out on a few days 😁
Stack it somewhere dry with decent airflow. Airflow in the space and between pieces of wood as much as possible. Then apply low time preference.
