When keyboard sats symbol?
When I first heard about the following Initiative I also thought it would be confusing to use the ₿ as the sats symbol:
But if you think about it for a second it makes sense. No one ever would assume, that someone paid such a huge amount of Bitcoin for accommodation. So as purchasing power increases (and the need to talk about sats instead of Bitcoin), lets use the most recognized symbol in our day to day lives. No normie in the world knows what the kebap symbol stands for, so why should we rebrand something that’s already understood by most?
Now that being said, I’m going for a breakfast. Over here it only costs 10.000 ₿ and it’s super delicious 👌
How long have you stayed? I'm planning a trip soon and have a huge conflict of opsec vs. the awesomeness of being able to live on bitcoin for a while.
I’m staying for 3 months in total. Can totally recommend to doing the same. Not just because you basically don’t have to touch dirty fiat here, but also because the vibes are simply amazing.
Usually people that come for a couple of days, stay for weeks, months and sometimes they never even leave at all 🧘♂️
