Nah, it worked perfectly for me back in the day. Just waiting for them to release an update that lets you buy liquidity for 1+ year!
It is objectively more complicated than using a custodial wallet for zaps. Also more expensive. Unnecessary for sending and receiving the amounts people send on nostr.
Oh yeah using Alby fixes this😂

Imagine your favorite restaurant switching from selling your favorite prepared foods with table service, to instead selling ingredients and recipes, and then trying to convince you that it was better this way. 😂 Grocery stores are fine and good, as are recipe books, but when someone wants to simply go out to eat they need a restaurant, not a grocery store.

Lol maybe 😂 Hey but for an exorbitant fee they’ll be happy to host your wallet for you again. Seems some middle ground is possible. Like, charging a smaller fee for a smaller amount of liquidity based on what you need. But call me crazy 🤷♂️
Can even use Alby go with CoinOs NWC. CoinOs Go if you want a simple lightning wallet with 2 buttons. Although the CoinOs PWA get the job done pretty well too.
