Leaders of the rebel Sudanese Rapid Reaction Force met with "special envoys" from the US, UK and Norway just 48 hours before yesterday's military coup attempt.

Sudanese air force warplanes carried out a massive bombardment of a huge camp of the rebel Rapid Reaction Forces in the Salha region, south of Omdurman.

The positions of the rebels in Port Sudan, on the coast of the Red Sea, were also subjected to a powerful attack from the air.

It was in this area that the construction of a Russian naval base was planned.

When there is a country that isn't aligned with the US war machine being 'liberated' it's not about freedom.

Here is an article from a year ago that offers some insight. It seems to have some history and that the toppling of al-Bashir wasn't enough for the US to gain a foothold.

I suggest you try to read past some of the linguo that the West uses to justify their involvement.

It seems like the faith of Ukraine/Western war and Sudan is narrowly tied together.

Sad to see this conflict drags more countries /populations into hunger and poverty.

Thanks a dozen for sharing all those details.

It’s literally a proxy war US / Russia
