Puffy pancakes
I will forever see certain fungi as puffy cakes from now on πππ»π―
Laetaporous sulphurus or chicken of the woods. Delicious slow simmered in a little cooking oil. Those are perfect. If you carefully trim the tender edges new growth will reoccur after the next rain.
