I believe in a universal truth. But you can appeal to the founding fathers and claim the world has inalienable rights
Discussion
Can’t
You might as well be saying it's okay to murder someone as long as it's not a US citizen.
I'm not appealing to the founding fathers, I am appealing to what the founding fathers appealed to, which is universal truth and basic human decency, both of which are terribly violated by sending police after someone because you don't like what they say. Anyone supporting that is a monster. No other details, such as citizenship, matter.
When you appeal to what the founding fathers said and wrote, you’re appealing to the founding fathers. How else would you appeal to them by definition?
And, in America, nobody is sending police after somebody for what they said. They are not exercising free speech in public. I think this is the part you don’t understand.
They were married to a citizen. They were part of a community. They were expressing an opinion peacefully just like any other time, but this time someone sent the police after them for their peaceful belief.
You have to ask yourself: Why? What are they afraid of? What are they trying to hide? The truth does not need defense. Only lies.
Source for your claims? And the truth certainly requires a defense. If the truth can’t be defended, well, is it true?
Reported as such on the Ron Paul liberty report.
An ostrich can bury its head in the sand, but that doesn't protect it. You can vanquish the truth in your own life, by all appearances. You can shut your eyes and imagine yourself on a beach during your morning commute, but sooner or later the truth comes knocking.
I just listened to the first part of the Liberty Report. If you’re referring to Rumeysa Ozturk, DHS has not released the details around her arrest. You have no idea why she was detained. Just because CNN or the Guardian, or whoever says it’s because of her political views, doesn’t mean that’s what has gone on. Rubio, who knows more than you and I, suggestions that individuals who are on student visas and break the law will lose that privilege. So to your initial claim, people are allowed to peacefully protest in America.
They are defining 'break the law' to eliminate their free speech. Very convenient for those who are posturing for WW3 with Iran.
I think you, your family, and your friends should be the first to be drafted. Once you see the consequences of your beliefs firsthand, you will realize your mistake.
Now you’re just making stuff up. Again, you have no idea what she did. You’re assuming. Ron Paul even used the word “may”. You want to go ahead and convict. To my point earlier, The Truth has to be defended because of people like you that want to rush to make accusations.
The posturing comment for WWIII against Iran is just ignorant, so I’m going to ignore it.
And you won’t have to draft me. I volunteered to serve a country that has given me so much. Feel free to insult, I’m accustom to it.
