Finally cancelled my cybertruck order because it’s too small vs the prototype and looks to have serious build quality issues

I was refunded $100, so let’s do some quick math

I initially made the pre order on 11/22/19

Bitcoin was trading at $7,242

So my $100 would have gotten me 1,383,000 sats

Today that’s worth $942

And to further add insult to injury the $100 I received back is worth $77.30 in today’s purchasing power.

So I lost 22.7% and my opportunity cost was +$842

Bitcoin and the dollar enforce this brutal reality on us everyday in both directions.

It’s best to constantly be aware of it and make the right decisions as best you can.
