Did you ever wonder what GPT like AIs will do to video games, especially PNJ intelligence?

Imagine open worlds with thousands of PNJs doing their stuff and living their lives in a credible way, discussing with your own character with a natural way and even totally changing their behavior and own future after meeting you or even an other PNJ ? Without devs even coding specifically any of these interactions ?

It could also be used by devs to create huge procedural worlds instantly, but not empty ones. Living, dense, breathing credible worlds with a great variety of landscape, creatures, architecture, lores of this places, with minimum rework from artists.
