Daily drawing day 216. I enjoyed drawing this so much! And the daily work paid off: I got the balance right. How?

I managed to combine water colour with soft pastel in the way that feels natural, I managed to keep the colour palette well toned, and I managed to balance multiple characters and give them expressions that make sense.

You might not notice these details but I’m really pleased with the outcome.
