I'm on the beginning of my gardening journey. Today I show you Coleus amboinicus I have at home. I prefer sustainable way of planting, so I have bokashi compost and the soil is fantastic.

Coleus amboinicus - it is native in Africa, common names in English are Mexican mint or Cuban oregano, in Czech we call it "rýmovník".

You can use it as an ornamental plant, spice or in form of essential oil as an repelent.

Jo, jo. Také ho doma mám. Ale je to plevel, roste o stošest! 😊

Děláme z toho dětem sirup. Nestěžují si.

Thanks for showing it. Never even heard of it.

We have a few mint and oregano in our garden, but certainly not that.

What is in the compost to make it sustainable?

Well I guess compost is always sustainable, but using bokashi bran is the only way how to handle biowaste in a flat (I have no garden).

Is it oregano? Never heard of it too! 🌱 researched the name.. :)

I am also at the beginning of my gardening journey.🥬🥒🍅 Love to watch the plants grow and to take care of them 💚

Oregano-like plant :-) I will take care of it. Thanks for the ⚡️
