There’s a reason people coined the phrase “starving artist.” Most creative content is under-appreciated, and AI is going to make that harder. But the thing I’m not sure you’re taking into account is not just the post content but the post frequency, following size and reach.

#Nostr is different because the amplification mechanics don’t work like algorithm-driven social media. You have to put in the work to get noticed, and then keep putting in the work, building an audience and staying engaged. It means gradually getting organic followers and adding relays to become more visible. It means talking to others and making connections.

You can’t just show up, post a few articles and photos, and expect to get thousands of zaps. That’s not how the #V4V economy works here, at least at this very early stage.

I’ve worked with and around creators for a very long time. Many are the hardest working people I know. Still more seem to expect patronage to appear out of the ether and out of obligation. And this is their ultimate downfall.

As with everything worth anything, proof of work wins.

I just have heard from many people that a few months prior there was a lot more v4v between creators, its was beautiful. But now it's all focused into Dev. And also I agree on the AI point heavily.
