Lol what does god have to do with it? In any case it’s literally the law sec can’t simply declare something a security or they’d already done so. Bizarre that Btc holders would be cheering on the sec looks like you’re desperate to see alt money flow into Btc and get Btc to ath again
First of all that’s not the reason why BTC hit ATH.. l lol it hits ATH because supply schedule halves every 4 year.
Secondly, The charges are against exchanges selling the unregistered securities. Generally they will prove that these exchanges were selling unregistered securities based on the Howey Test.
The Howey test has three main criteria that must be met for a transaction to be classified as a security:
1. Investment of Money: The transaction involves an investment of money or assets.
2. Common Enterprise: The investor's money is pooled with others, and the profits are generated from the efforts of a third party or a common enterprise.
3. Expectation of Profit: The investors have an expectation of profits primarily from the efforts of others involved in the transaction.
If all three elements are present, the transaction is likely to be considered a security and subject to relevant securities laws and regulations that are in place already.
Lastly, and I hate to bring god into it but you’re going to need him because you’ve been deceived into scams that are going to go to zero. You’re going to be in a bad place if you don’t heed the warnings that much more experienced people than you are telling you.
Nobody cares about “alt money” flowing into bitcoin. It can all go to zero. Bitcoin is the same market cap as everything else in “crypto” combined and it’s still tiny compared to the rest of global assets. We have our laser eyes focused on a much bigger goal.
