i'd start small, few minutes at a time either late/early in the day, then increase exposure time gradually. that's what i did; kept it very measured so my skin strengthened gradually rather than getting blasted in short bursts. works like a charm.

Oh I do 4km walk in the sun every morning and another 4 in the late afternoon. That's been the past year. Its improved for sure but I live in Costa Rica mate, its just harder here. Started raining yesterday. First time in 4 months. Looking at the grill cover wondering if that expensive material actually lasted the full dry season. Its only a year old and was already essentially porous. The water bottles on my bike last 3 months if I leave them outside and then just crumble in hands.

You win sir! Finally tested after my mirnung and evening walks. 3 hours on beach today. No sunscreen, no burn!
