I think wanting something for nothing is weird. This is where value for value comes into play, but it's not widely understood or used.

If the ordinary pleb has a choice to pay or not to pay it would be strange to choose to pay.

I'm quite sure that some will earn pile of sats on nostr. They invest and speculate.

Basing their existence on moral doesn't seem like a viable approach.
